Abstrakt

This project reflects on teaching a modular missions elective in urban church-planting leadership at São Luis Baptist Theological Seminary. Research identifies regional planning deficiencies among northeast Brazilian evangelicals. Training compensates by emphasizing group decision-making and problem-solving models oriented to church planting and leadership needs, especially dedicated to Vacation Missionary Projects (Promifé). Research follows biblical-theological lines, using narrative passages of both testaments. Theoretical investigation includes leadership, management, planning, education, church planting, training through coaching and small group dynamics. Qualitative growth is observed among students. An appendix presents the course syllabus in Portuguese.
