Abstract
  • This project proposes and analyzes an effort to make Christian baptism--understood as death and resurrection--a primary focus and dominant emphasis in the life and ministry of a local congregation. Beginning with a year-long study of baptism in a Sunday morning Bible class, the congregation conceives and implements a confirmation mentor program to teach and emphasize the meaning of baptism and its consequences in Christian life.
