Abstrakt

The study follows one congregation's attempt to investigate the meaning and implications of the Pauline understanding of the church/Body of Christ in 1 Corinthians 12, and to integrate the results of that study into the life of the congregation. The project focuses on the process of developing a setting in which congregation members confront the Word and subsequently experience the dynamic unity and interdependent diversity generated by the Word within the Body of Christ. A concluding section describes the value of such a process for pastoral ministry.
