- Abstract
- Adrift in a mysterious sea of uncharted waters called 'spirituality,' few people understand where they are, how they got there, why they are there, where they are going, and how to fix their exact location and proceed upon a nurturing and safe course in their spirituality. The author's research data came from studies on church growth and decline, and from questionnaires, interviews, feedback forms, and dialogues with Air Force personnel. This dissertation enabled Air Force personnel to assess and clarify their spirituality values and equipped USAF Chaplains and civilian clergy to more effectively meet the spiritual needs of young adults.
