Abstract
  • The deacons of Enon Baptist Church had recognized the importance of becoming servant-ministers. The purpose of this project was to create a greater awareness of biblically based deacon ministry on the part of the congregation and to equip the deacons to become servant-ministers. Two methods of research were employed: the experimental method and the descriptive method. With the combination of these two methodologies, the project was successfully accomplished. The congregation grew in their awareness of biblically based deacon ministry, and the deacons were equipped to become servant-ministers.
