Abstract
  • This project endeavors to answer the following question: 'To what extent has the program, An Adventure in Healing and Wholeness helped the United Methodist Church to become involved in a search for Christian understanding of health, healing, and wholeness in their congregations and seminaries?' To determine the use and effectiveness of this program in local congregations, a questionnaire was designed to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the Adventure program. This questionnaire was sent to the 117 Adventure leaders and to 300 local congregations that have participated in the Adventure training. Of those, 126 respondents returned the questionnaire.
