Abstract
  • Meaningful dialogue is essential to effective staff ministry. This project was designed to provide two tools to enhance that process for those involved in staff ministry within the Church of the Nazarene. The report outlines a traditional understanding of ministry within a denominational context. It researches areas of verbalized concern from interviews, discusses potential barriers to staff ministry due to denominational polity, and develops communication tools to enhance effectiveness in ministry. Incorporation of this learning process has improved personal effectiveness in the current ministry setting.
