- The question that was studied was whether teaching a class on material entitled The Eden model of marital enrichment by Tim Gardner to Christian couples increased their level of marital and sexual satisfaction. Evaluating the effectiveness of the curriculum couples completed the Dyadic Adjustment scale, the Confidence Scale, the Relationship Scale, and the Marital Satisfaction Inventory, Revised. This study showed that couples experienced increased marital satisfation as is seen in the couples having more confidence of staying together, more hope about their future together, less distress, better problem solving communication, increased friendship, greater emotional intimacy and increased sexual satisfaction.
