  • This project identifies four major characteristics of Taiwanese people--compassion, relationship, pride, and power complex--that relate dynamically to pastoral leadership, and proposes an ideal Taiwanese pastoral leadership paradigm. Taiwanese churches experience difficulties with pastoral leadership because a Western leadership paradigm is not suitable or useful in Taiwanese culture. .
