Abstract
  • This project is a first-hand glance at some of the inspiration that fueled the transformation of the Zion United Methodist Church. Zion was able to move from a struggling single cell, one-day-a-week church to the vibrant and vivacious multi-ministry church, serving and honoring God through sharing and caring ministries every day of the week. The sermons, workshops, conferences, gift assessment, and Bible studies were tools that aided the transformation. However, the motivation and inspiration were direct results of serious-minded people who studied, worked and wrestled with the issues of life that call us to respond in the matchless, magnificent, and majestic name of Christ.
