Abstract
  • The thesis of this project is that the plannaging process of administration (planning and managing change) is a viable and useful resource for American Baptist pastors. Following the development of a church-specific version of plannaging manuals, selected clergy were trained as trainers who in turn trained one hundred fifty pastors throughout New England in the use of plannaging. This training enabled these pastors to use plannaging in their personal and professional life. The positive response from the pastors who participated has enabled this project to become a national program in the American Baptist Churches.
