Abstract
  • By viewing the large church as a roundatble where everyone is valued, the preacher can encourage conversation with God's Word about what it means to be Christ's Church. The author introduced multiple feedback loops into congregational life to include more voices in the conversation. Working with several groups in the preparation and evaluation of sermons, the author created a climate in which responsibility for the Word was broadened. Through sermon feedback forms and a congregational survey, the author determined that the ideal of a roundtable church was a useful model for a preacher in a large church.
