Abstract
  • A ministry tool was created from the author's experience of leading a toxic congregation to health. The toxic congregation is one that abuses power by attacking integrity and competence, withholding financial giving, making threats, physical harm, disrespect, resistance to new ideas, and extreme resistance to authority figures. God's providential care and the gift of discernment were very critical to the positive end result. The ministry tool is a process of turnaround in which there are three dimensions: Spiritual, Ministry and Mission, and Church Leadership.
