Abstract
  • The first section of the thesis argues that postmodern people will listen and believe us when they hear God's voice through us. But how do we preach from the voice of God? Current homiletical and exegetical studies give inadequate help. In response, the first section develops a postmodern spiritual hermeneutics--a 'theology of the voice of God.' The second section responds to pluralism. It upgrades the orthodox Christian worldview to postmodern standards through a study of cosmology, history, time studies and comparative religion. In the process, a strategy for preaching to postmodern doubters emerges.
