Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to enhance the project director's preaching skills through the use of a preaching method at First Baptist Church, Milton, Florida. This project involved both research and ministry in following a skills-enhancement model. Homiletical research was done primarily in one specific preaching approach. From this research, unique features related to this project director preached a series of sermons utilizing this preaching method, demonstrating increased knowledge and skill development in preaching. At numerous times during this project, a group of experts and practitioners in the preaching field were consulted for critique on research and preaching assessment.
