Abstract
  • The transition of the traditional Korean family system is analyzed both historically and sociologically. A historical analysis of the past twenty years revealed the rapid growth of Korean immigrants in America. Such rapid growth caused extreme cultural shock and severe family crisis within the traditional Korean family system. To prevent the destruction of the Korean immigrant families, the Korean immigrant churches must establish theological direction and ministerial strategies.
