Abstract
  • The research shows how God's special revelation can be conceived as a conversation with Mencius' thinking. In this sense, we should not criticize Mencius' thinking in order to promote Christian belief, but let Christian faith and Chinese thinking interchange with each other through a free dialogue. The approach of this thesis is a contextualization in which the author seeks to explain how to present the gospel so that it may penetrate deeply into Chinese thinking and become more acceptable to the Chinese people.
