Abstract
  • The purpose of this study is to gather data that measured what dual-paycheck families feel is important in their relationship to the church. The study is based on a Factor Analysis of 155 questionnaires, gathered from individuals who attend 12 UCC churches and one conference. It reveals that dual-paycheck families do not value any function of a church's ministry more than single-paycheck families. It also reveals that the more one is involved in church activities, the more one values all church activities. The study indicates that more investigation is needed and suggests ways local churches can help dual-paycheck families.
