Abstract
  • This project proposes and tests a small-group Bible study to lead suburbanites to repent their biases and sins against cities and to prepare them for urban ministry. The study helps suburban Christians to understand themselves and their biases, and it introduces a city theology, proposing biblical solutions to urban challenges confronting suburbanites. The 12-lesson curriculum addresses prejudice, partiality, materialism, greed, 'gatehouse' isolationism, crime, and one-sided spirituality.
