Abstract
  • The gospel is not only a personal invitation to discipleship, but a global proclamation of Christ as liberating Lord. A task force was recruited to investigate methods of announcing the lordship of Christ by adopting the role of journalists for the church. Its method and results were studied over a period of several months through participation in the group, frequent consultation with the minister of the church, detailed interviews with members of the church. The written project offers a theological reflection on these activities. The author concludes that this form of evangelism helps to give the church a specific identity in the world and encourages active participation in the work of God's love, justice and peace.
