Abstract
  • A study of five Christian schools is made to become knowledgeable in philosophies, methodologies, and organizational structures for the purpose of implementing a church-operated school. It involves two types of schools, 'accelerated Christian education' and the 'traditional classroom'. Research includes a survey, on-site visits, focused interviews, school materials and published literature. The history, doctrine and philosophy of education is investigated and comparisons are made between the schools in organization and operation. The author concludes that the school for his church should be an integral part of the church ministry and of the traditional-classroom instructional method.
