Abstract
  • Christian school education provides a viable solution of the plight and the development of the African-American community. The authors have a combined total of 30 years ministry experience. Using their experience along with sociological and historical research, they demonstrate the adverse effect the deterioration of the family is having in society. They argue that a long-term, efficacious solution requires sacrifice, leadership development, and the establishment of foundational institutions conducive for character building. According to the authors, the Christian school meets these objectives and more.
