- Abstract
- This project proposes, prepares and presents a small-group Bible study and fellowship program for members of a local Lutheran congregation. With collaborative pastoral leadership, an initial retreat, and careful training of leaders facilitating group ownership of the project goals, the group undertakes a 'case study' of the Joseph narrative (Gen 37-50), which proves to be a stimulating resource for discussion of contemporary issues. Participants enter into the text through four questions relating to background, what happens, dynamics involved, and evaluations to be made.
