Abstract
  • Children, ages two to twelve, are capable of worship and should be included in the congregational worship o f a Christian church. The level of a child's involvement in each segment of the liturgy is ascertained through interviews with and questionnaires completed by children and their parents. Worship is defined in terms of the biblical materials. A survey of child development literature is employed in the creation and evaluation of components for worship which involve children. Planning resources for a church year are developed. The author concludes that congregational worship is strengthened by the inclusion of worshiping children.
