- Abstract
- The heavy economic dependency of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Egypt on western subsidies in its 93-year history (1901-1994) has stymied its symmetrical, spiritual, financial and numerical development. Biblical and missiological reflections were supported by a study of the overall and financial status of the Egyptian SDA Church by means of surveys, interviews, charts and graphs. It was discovered that the Egyptian SDA Church is fast approaching a state of deterioration and decay that must be addressed promptly and reversed. The last chapter of the dissertation/project makes concrete recommendations for a ten-year period that are meant to reverse and revitalize the SDA Church in Egypt.
