Abstract
  • The project equipped First Baptist Church (Rio Rancho, New Mexico) to understand and apply the doctrines of repentance and spiritual awakening. Spiritual awakening is in the sovereignty of God. However, believers can position themselves to be used by God. A key aspect of this positioning is a lifestyle of repentance. The ultimate desire is to see God bring revival to the life of the church and community. The project consisted of six teaching sessions, an eight-message sermon series, and the completion of a life journal. The individuals who participated have begun a pilgrimage in renewal.
