Abstract
  • How does one respond most effectively to the call of renewal as a woman religious in the Roman Catholic church? This dissertation addresses this question and brings out some of the implicit theological assumptions which affect women religious to become authentically related to the church and to the larger world. This study shows how religious life lived in a spirit of on-going evaluation and renewal is in keeping with the gospel's call for an authentic shared life in Christ.
