Abstract
  • This project proposes that psychological language such as 'self-differentiation' from Murray Bowen's family-systems therapy can be integrated with theological language. The project examines and correlates Bowen's theory and language with the language and concepts of Paul Tillich, demonstrating that pastors can integrate theological and psychological language and offer the best of both points of view.
