Abstract
  • The purpose of this ministry project was to train Baptist Student Union members to be effective peer counselors and thereby broaden the ministry of the Baptist Student Union on the campus of the University of Georgia. The writer conducted an eight-week worshop for fourteen students. The validity of the workshop was studied through the use of pretests and posttests for the workshop group and a control group. The writer completed a statistical analysis of the workshop using t-tests. The results of these tests confirmed the usefulness of such a peer-counseling workshop among selected college students.
