- Abstract
- This paper proposes a model for church groups to discover and reflect upon the contributions of service to spiritual growth. For three months the author selected an adult church school class to serve as a focus group and conducted interviews with the members. He confirmed his assumption that parishioners correlate growth in spirituality with means that are overtly private. With the aid of the class, the author constructed a model that will assist groups in reflecting on the impact of service to spiritual growth and to function as an incentive for making an impact within the community.
