Abstract
  • The purpose of the project was to develop and implement a membership seminar consisting of seven sessions. A manual used for session content was written. The goal was to make membership meaningful at the church. Three seminars were evaluated. It was the author's objective to increase the effectiveness of the church in communicating and teaching the value of membership to prospective new members. Final evaluation and feedback indicated that participants agreed with and understood the biblical and spiritual implications of membership and that a clear, identifiable process to become a member was established at the church.
