Abstract
  • The current climate and culture of consumption exacts a toll from the physical and spiritual lives of Christians. This study makes the case that a mature understanding and faithful practice of Sabbath-keeping counters this culture of consumption and consumerism and leads to physical, emotional, and spiritual health. This research project focuses on how to nurture the members of one church in order to develop a more holistic and faithful understanding and practice of Sabbath-keeping.
