  • The purpose of this project was to develop a strategy to facilitate a church plant in the Easthaven community surrounding the Morrison Heights mission and ministry campus, Clinton, Mississippi. The project began with a study of existing church plant models, strategies, and demographics. Next, the project considered a biblical basis for church planting. After the research phase, the project director led the strategic leadership team in developing a strategy to facilitate a church plant. The final goal for the project was to present the church plant strategy to the elders of Morrison Heights Baptist Church, Clinton, Mississippi, for approval.
