Abstract
  • This project examines the question: how will an intentional intervention process prepare graduating female seminarians from denominations that do not ordain women for placement in fulltime ministry positions? Small group meetings provided a network of support for seminarians. A Circle of Mentors consisting of ordained women clergy employed in full time ministry positions provided their expertise and personal examples for discerning, female seminarians. The project revealed the power of practicing the collective wisdom present in the interplay of the processes of discernment and mentorship.
