Abstract
  • A training program for parents with children between the ages of three and six was the culmination of this project. This course was based on a philosophy that was grounded in a study of theology and psychology. This study led to a training program which emphasized the centrality of the parent-child relationship. Many parenting skills which enhanced this relationship were presented and practiced. These skills were in the areas of love, communication, gaining cooperation, discipline and building responsibility. These skills were taught through a variety of visual means, including video, cartoons, role-playing, outlines and graphs.
