- Abstract
- One of the heaviest burdens on the churches and society in Hungary has been the isolation for forty years. The aim of the project dissertation was to explore the complex relationship between the Reformed Protestant tradition and the two contexts, and to construct an improved cross-cultural encounter for the respective groups of the Reformed Church in Hungary and Columbia Theological Seminary. Another aim was to provoke and foster such alternative imaginings in the participants which enabled them to contribute to and accelerate the positive trends and changes in their respective societies.
