- A program of holistic evangelism which permeates programmatic life can be implemented at Faith Baptist Church by increasing congregational awareness of evangelistic responsibility, variety of evangelistic activities, and relationship of evangelism to specific departments. Literary research examined the holistic evangelistic ministries of Jesus, Francis of Assisi, John Wesley, and C E Matthews, and holistic evangelism in the New Testament. Social research involved a sermon series, weekend retreat lessons, and annual planning classes. Results indicated an already strong awareness of holistic evangelistic theory, little increase in awareness, and the need to focus on implementation of holistic evangelistic theory.
