Abstract
  • This project focuses on a particular congregation and role that adult Christian learning plays in helping to harness and maintain spiritual energy during an intentional process of congregational transformation. The underlying premise of this research project is the belief that congregational transformation is directly connected to the spiritual lives of members. Findings from the study clustered into four major themes: a yearning to be in relationship with God and others, making the connection; biblical and faith journey stories; the imperative of sensing sincerity on the part of the church; and a yearning for more.
