Abstract
  • This study looks at the attitudes and practices of Christian financial stewardship in large Presbyterian churches. A study is made of the place of financial stewardship in the Old and New Testaments. Theological study looks at stewardship in Reformed theology. The study includes a look at how worship and financial stewardship are linked. A survey was made of 32 Presbyterian churches, each with 2000 members or more. Active laity and clergy attitudes and practices were uncovered. Campaign practices were surveyed. The results of these surveys are recorded and analyzed, and conclusions are made.
