- Abstract
- This dissertation examines the effect of fatherlessness in both the church and the culture. Chapter 1 addresses the issue of fatherlessness. Chapter 2 investigates the theological foundation of the father, looking at both Old and New Testament. Chapter 3 examines their background and spiritual formation to determine the best approach to equipping them for leadership. Chapter 4 outlines the instructional times given to these men. Chapter 5 focuses on the evaluation of this project. This work contends that the modern church avoids the critical issues of Christian fathering and seeks to design training programs around male leadership.
