Abstracto

The purpose of this project was to develop a workshop on artificial intelligence (AI) from a Christian worldview for Russell Springs First Baptist Church. The content for the workshop consisted of key subjects and issues associated with artificial intelligence. The workshop was created to equip those at Russell Springs First Baptist with the knowledge to think through the issues from a Christian perspective. The project was modeled after the ministry-research model for the DMin program at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary’s. The goals for the project included researching the field of artificial intelligence, identifying key issues within the field, and creating a curriculum for the workshop. The workshop was held at Russell Springs First Baptist Church in Russell Springs, Kentucky. Key issues identified were analyzed alongside the concerns discovered from the church-wide survey on AI. The results were synthesized and used to guide the topics covered within the workshop.
