Abstract
  • The purpose of this project is to develop a mentor-enabled plan for adult new believers in churches in the Georgia Baptist Convention. This ministry research model will include: a rationale for a mentor-enabled assimilation process; an explanation of how to implement the plan in a local church; a description of the qualifications of mentors and how to enlist and train them; four representative lessons of a twelve-lesson curriculum; and a teaching plan for the mentors for each of the included four lessons. The anticipated result will be an effective process and curriculum to enable better the assimilation of adult new believers in churches in the Georgia Baptist Convention.
