- This project proposes and develops a child protection program for a local congregation of the Evangelical Free Church in order to reduce significantly the risk of child sexual abuse in the church's ministries to children. Drawing on research in contemporary problems of abuse and on biblical standards of sexual conduct, the project designs a policy manual and plans to protect children served in church programs, establishes a screening process and training for volunteer staff, and educates the congregation about abuse and the church's responsibility.
