  • The purpose of this project was to equip selected parents of Judson Baptist Church, Walker, Louisiana, in faith transmission skills. The project began with faith formation research to discover faith transmission skills. The research included books, other ministries, and students and young adults in the ministry setting who continue to be active in their faith. The next step was developing a curriculum to equip selected parents of Judson Baptist Church, Walker, Louisiana, in faith transmission skills. The curriculum came from the research conducted in the previous step. To help me gain skills in curriculum writing, I completed the book Design for Teaching and Training by LeRoy Ford. The new skills, combined with the knowledge gained from the research, resulted in a curriculum. The last step was equipping selected parents of Judson Baptist Church, Walker, Louisiana, in faith transmission skills. The parents were taught using cognitive, psychomotor, and affective learning. Tools to be used in incorporating the domains of learning were pre- and posttests, role-playing, and a follow-up meeting.
