Abstract
  • This study uses library research to identify theological, historical, and legal issues with regard to doing social-justice ministry in a military context. It uses a questionnaire given to Christian army chaplains to ascertain the status of social-justice ministry. The conclusion is that there is a desire to do this ministry, but that there is little structural/systemic incentive to do it from the army or the church.
