Abstract
  • This project evaluated effects on collegiate spiritual activity of secondary science education. The expectation was that exposure to alternatives to Darwinist explanations of origin in high school would result in religious practice in college and that there would be a negative correlation between a student's attitude toward Darwinism as an explanation and church attendance. An online survey of thirty-two questions was conducted on one-hundred seventy-five respondents. Results revealed no correlation between spiritual activity and exposures to Darwinism alternatives in high school but a negative relationship between a student's opinion of Darwinism's explanatory power and their church attendance was confirmed.
