Abstract
  • This dissertation-project is a group study guide and resource for ethical deliberation and discussion about issues raised by recent developments in molecular biology, genetics and technology as these affect humankind. In 1982, under the auspices of the Episcopal Church, a group of scientists and theologians from the Boston-Cambridge area held a series of meetings to discuss the issues and develop a curriculum for the church. Included are cases and questions for discussion, related background readings, theological and cultural perspectives, and statements by participants in the biotechnology study group.
