Abstrait

The purpose of this project was the development of a personal evangelism program that could be easily taught by clergy or laity in a local church of any size. A course of study was written to be taught in ten lessons covering the following subjects: the mandate to evangelize, memorization, personal testimony, gospel content, commitment, pre-evangelism, handling objections, and follow up. An accompanying teacher's manual was provided. Teaching methodology included the use of an overhead projector, role playing, lecture, discussion, and small group activities. Those taking the course showed an increased ability to verbalize their faith to others.
