Abstract
  • The purpose of this doctor of ministry project is to promote spiritual formation among women students in training for the vocational ministry at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. A unique experiential group process designed for the women taking part in the project and also in-depth case studies were used in the research. The results of the twelve-week experiential group process indicate that the ministry goals of enhancing personal empowerment, nurturing pastoral identity, and appropriating pastoral authority were met.
