Abstract
  • My thesis is that the body is the temple of God, and since the church is responsible for giving guidance to mind, body and spirit, there is much work to be done in the area of the body. I used a proactive approach to address the glaring lack of church programs that incorporate holistic health of the mind, body and spirit in an effective way. At the end of an eight week worshop, I developed recipes and guidance for healthy eating and participated in nationwide tours to urge better health, and to urge the church to take on the challenge.
